A Culinary Journey

Mare Nuestro was founded by Chef Alessandro Marini, who trained in the finest restaurants of the French Riviera and Italian coast before falling in love with the Caribbean. His vision was to create a restaurant that would showcase the incredible seafood of the Dominican Republic through the lens of Mediterranean cuisine.

Our name, "Mare Nuestro" (Our Sea), reflects our philosophy of celebrating the bounty of the Caribbean while honoring the culinary traditions of the Mediterranean. Every dish is crafted with the finest ingredients, from locally caught lobster to imported Italian truffles.

The restaurant's elegant design features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Caribbean Sea, creating an atmosphere where the beauty of the ocean enhances every dining experience. Our wine cellar houses over 300 selections from renowned regions around the world.
