Barco Bar was born from the passion of a local fisherman who wanted to share the authentic flavors of the sea with visitors to Bayahíbe. What started as a small beachside shack has evolved into one of the village's most beloved dining destinations.
Our unique boat-themed design features authentic maritime artifacts, including vintage fishing nets, ship wheels, and nautical instruments collected over decades. The restaurant's centerpiece is an actual fishing boat that has been converted into a dining area, offering guests a truly immersive experience.
Every morning, our chef personally selects the freshest catch from local fishermen, ensuring that our seafood is not only delicious but also supports the local fishing community that has sustained Bayahíbe for generations.
